The Image of Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the image of Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep on 11 aspects. The sample was 840 respondents comprising the University’s 220 instructors and 620 students. 840 sets of questionnaire were distributed and collected by the researchers, and 100% of them was perfectly completed. Then the collected data was analyzed by using “percentage”, “mean” and “standard deviation” after that data interpretation was done.
The results were founds as follows:
1. The overall instructors’ satisfaction towards the 11 aspects of image of Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep was found at medium level. When looking at individual aspect, it was found that the following aspects: administration and management, teaching materials and texts, students’ quality, academic service, registration system, and the University’s atmosphere were also found at medium level. The aspect of the graduates’ quality was found at high level. While the buildings and classrooms, the aspects of facilities, security system and car park were found at low level.
2. The overall students’ satisfaction towards the 11 aspects of image of Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep was found at medium level. When considering individual aspect, it was found that the following aspects: administration and management, teaching materials and texts, students’ affairs, buildings and classrooms, academic service, University atmosphere, registration system, facilities, and security system and car park were also found at medium level. While the aspects of instructors’ quality, and students’ quality were found at high level
