The evaluation of self-sustaining lunch program in Primary School based on Sisaket College of Agriculture and Technology PaiboonMeesin
Abstract
The purposes of evaluation of self- sustaining lunch program in Primary School based on Sisaket College of Agriculture and Technology were to assess the process of self-sustaining lunch program in Primary School. Especially, the study of Sisaket College of Agriculture and Technology lunch program were based on CIPP model which consisted of context, input, process and product. The research materials were rating scale questionnaire and unstructured selection interview. The target groups were administrators, teacher who responding on the program and primary school belonging to Sisaket Primary Education Service Area which cooperating with Sisaket College of Agriculture and Technology 42 schools. The research started the research on fiscal year, 2013
The result on the field of the context found that the administrator who responding to the lunch program gave the opinion as good. They agreed on the regulation of self- sustaining lunch program clearly as good. Filed of input found that the target group who answering the questionnaire gave the opinion as good. Moreover, the agreed with the college to review and adjust the objective plan to look after the environment as good. The field of process found that the populations who answering the questionnaire gave the opinion as good to agree with the college running the vegetation product or giving the animal treat following the project properly as very good. The field of product found that the target group who answering the questionnaire gave the opinion as good to agree on the process of the college supporting the school to decrease the budget for the lunch program as good. The report of the project’s process found that there were the most complete on the academic and product to primary school which were supported school which took part in the project to have the raw material supporting the lunch program sustainly which affected to the children’s malnutrition on the student who were studying in the primary school belonging to Sisaket Education Service Area having the decrease tendency orderly. But the report of process project’s result had no any institute to support the program especially Sisaket College of Agriculture and Technology. The result of study found that there are the outside institute to co-operate the program such as school, local administration, student’s parent and community. The factors above supported the self- sustaining lunch program successfully to have the comment and to do the next research.
