This article of this research was to design and build a small
boiler power generation system to study the variables affecting the
system performance. The system consists of 2 main components that are
1) Fire tube Steam boiler at 120 kg per hour of capacity and using LPG
as fuel. Economizer to on Steam boiler equipment at the exhaust stack 2)
Power generation unit using the steam turbine at 1500 watts directly
connected to 500 watts DC generator and control system The experiment
was to adjust the steam pressure of 1 barg and 2 barg, respectively. The
steam production rate was 120 kg per hour. Feed water temperature at 30,
45, 60 degrees Celsius, both in the case of flowing through and not
through the feed water boiler device. From the experimental results, it
was found that at 60 degrees Celsius. The maximum efficiency of the
boiler was calculated to be 84.25%. which is efficient steam turbine and
Generator efficiency were 87.50% and 75.50%.
