This study aims to examine the factors influencing capital structure and firm value of companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), specifically those included in the SET100 index, during the period from 2020 to 2024. The SET100 companies represent the top 100 listed firms with the highest market capitalization and consistently high trading liquidity, with the index constituents reviewed and adjusted every six months. The sample consists of 445 firm-year observations. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with path analysis, employing the Maximum Likelihood (ML) estimation method. The results reveal that firm performance significantly influences capital structure and indirectly affects firm value through capital structure. Tangible assets are also found to have a significant effect on capital structure and an indirect influence on firm value via capital structure. In addition, capital structure has a significant impact on firm value. The findings further indicate that an increase in external debt financing tends to raise the cost of capital and affect firm value, while capital structure measured by the interest coverage ratio has a significant influence on firm value.
