Abstract	The purpose of this research is to study production problems. Reducing production costs and finding solutions in the production of the automotive parts industry. Tools used in interview research are a structured, open-ended, in-depth interview to find information that will reveal the operating conditions and problems in reducing production costs in the automotive parts industry. It was found that production problems include material costs. Raw materials include direct materials and indirect materials. Labor costs and factory overhead costs Reducing production costs includes reducing costs in materials and raw materials, reducing labor costs, and reducing factory overhead costs.
