CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT BANGKOK RESIDENCES’ BEHAVIOR REGARDING ENERGY AND CONSUMER GOODS FACTORS

Abstract

The purposes of this research studied factors that affect the changing central business district Bangkok residences’ behavior in personal factors, energy factors, and consumer goods factors.
The population was 1,830,372 personnel in central business district of Bangkok. The sample size in the research comprised 400 personnel. Questionnaires were used by research tools. The data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-Test, F-test (One-way ANOVA), and Pearson’s Correlation coefficient.
The results were as follows: (1) Energy factors were rated at the high level ( = 4.14). All aspects of these factors were at the high level including (a) electricity factor was the highest (b) followed by water supply factor (c) fuel factor was the least. (2) Consumer goods factors were rated at high level ( = 4.23). All aspects of these factors were at high level including (a) shopping goods factor was the highest (b) convenience goods were at least. (c) Central business district Bangkok residences agree to perform go green which were rated at the high level ( = 3.85). All of the reducing energy and consumer goods’ behavior related to changing central business district Bangkok residences. Statistical significance was .05, respectively.
